Hi Everyone
Please excuse my ignorance! But I'm using a new GPS unit which has a micro SSD
card which I want to add some geo maps to. Never having used a SSD card on my
MacBook Pro I purchased a new one from Dick Smith (micro SDHC Memory Card 4GB
with SD Adaptor). My question is, having inserted the adaptor with the mini
memory card in it, nothing shows anywhere. Is the card supposed to show on the
desktop as a file (Like say a connected camera)? or do I have to do something
to activate it? Do I just insert and remove the card/adaptor physically? or is
there some other way of doing it? Is there anywhere I can go to learn the ins
and outs of these cards?
I hope all of this makes sense
