Hi Chris,

I would strongly recommend the iPhone over the Samsung Galaxy or any other
smartphone. Like all Apple products the finish and the design of the hardware
is astounding, and the software is superbly designed. Add to that the so-called
ecosystem that has been built around the iPhone (iTunes, App Store, Siri, Mac
OS X) and it has a clear lead. Have a glance at this article to get an idea of
the satisfaction rating that of the owners of iPhone 4S accord it:

http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/11/12/01/iphone_4s_is_apples_most_popular_phone_yet_with_96_satisfaction_rate.html

If you want a very quick analogy the Galaxy is Windows (complete with viruses
and software bugs -- not just in the analogy but in actuality) and the iPhone
is Mac OS.

As for the release date of the iPhone 5, I agree entirely that no-one really
knows -- at this point probably not even Tim Cook as I am sure there are
software and hardware hurdles to overcome yet, but my guess would be a year
after the release of the iPhone 4s. That is in the northern summer.

Cheers,
Carlo
