I use a Zoom 64bit modem for faxing, 21.5inch iMac 10.7.2. Faxes go out
correctly and I can follow their progress. On conclusion of transmission, the
modem does not always hang up but shows as still connected. I am not sure if
the receiving modem has correctly hung up but at my end the phone line remains
in use and blocked for other users. In Network settings/Advanced I have it as
a Dialup Device but there is no mention anywhere of hanging up. I am not set
up to receive incoming faxes.
This annoying, though no life threatening.
