Kevin, 1 In your ~/Movies folder you should find a folder called 'EyeTV Archive', unless you changed in EyeTV preferences where to store that folder.
2 In that 'EyeTV Archive' folder you should find your recordings with filenames like 'manual recording.eyetv' 3 Open Toast and update to Toast 10.0.9, the current version 4 In Toast choose 'Video' and then 'DVD-video'. 5 Choose the appropriate menu style and give the DVD a better name than 'My Movie' 6 Juggle your windows till you can simultaneously see the 'Toast' and your 'EyeTV Archive' windows 7 Choose the appropriate .eyetv files in the your 'EyeTV Archive' window and drag them into the Toast window. Drag at a leisurely pace; fast drags often don't work. 8 If necessary, edit your recordings in Toast and check that you have not over-filled your DVD 9 I strongly suggest you then click on the Save as Disk image button to save an image of the DVD to your HD 10 In Toast, switch to Copy and choose 'Image File'. 11 Select the image file recently created and, if it does not do so automatically, mount that image and check it with DVD Player. At that point I often find something I could have done better in compiling the DVD, and repeat steps 8 to 10. 12 When happy press the big red button, choose the lowest suggested burn speed, and go and have a cuppa 13 If these steps don't work at all then scratch your head and ask Wamug for further advice. 14 Occasionally, when testing in step 11, a recording won't play right till the end. In that case, return to EyeTV and open Window>EyeTV Programs 15 Switch to 'Recordings' and choose the recalcitrant recording. 16 In the work menu (with the gearwheel) choose 'Export…' 17 Export as HD 720 or HD 1080 Format 18 Return to step 7, but choose the exported file instead. In this case in step 12 you will need lots of cuppas as the re-coding will take a long time.
