Many thanks Ronni and Peter, it was indeed Spin Doctor causing the problem,and having Toast 10 and Toast 11 Pro installed on the same machine. I have instruction books going back to System 6 and lots of those 'coloured in' books and those Visually do it by numbers books that are no where near as concise and helpful as your instructions.
