Hi Stephen

Though I don't have an exact answer for this (and have googled and repaired and
modified to try and "fix it"), I have found some things that seem to make it a
bit better.
I sometimes come across the same "hiccup" with files.
It can be for a few different ways of doing it I find.
eg. I can drag a file from Mail onto the Finder to work with it. I can drag a
snapshot I've taken for a quote and dragged it into the email.
The work arounds I've found that generally work:-
If the email I had been looking at is in my Inbox then I will file it away to a
Mailbox (I like to keep my Inbox empty every day). So I right click on the
email and Choose "Move Message" and then will file it away to it's Mailbox.
If it's an email I am writing and I've added an attachment from the Finder then
send the email. I will again, Right click and "Move Message" to the folder I
want it to go to.
If I've started writing an email and then done something else then go back and
write it again, after I've sent it I'll sometime find a copy of it in Drafts as
well. So I'll make sure I file away the Sent one and delete the one from Drafts
(doesn't happen very often, but once in a blue moon).
I'll also ensure the Trash is empty as well.

I've found these things all allow Finder trash to be emptied a lot better with
attachments (either onto or from the Finder). So I come across this "problem" a
lot less then I did before.

As mentioned I never had a big problem with it, just a bit of annoyance. And
with the above it's certainly a lot less, maybe once a week now if that.

Hope something there may help or help work around it a bit better.

Kind regards
Daniel
