Good morning all, Due to the imminent demise of MobileMe web hosting I have transferred my web site to another host. I am setting up e-mail accounts such as [email protected] and the like but cant figure out if I should use the Auto-Configure Mac Mail.app® for IMAP Access or the Auto-Configure Mac Mail.app® for IMAP Access (SSL) app provided by the hosting people. They also give manual settings; Supported Incoming Mail Protocols: POP3, POP3S (SSL/TLS), IMAP, IMAPS (SSL/TLS) and Supported Outgoing Mail Protocols: SMTP, SMTPS (SSL/TLS).
It seems straight forward but to SSL or not to SSL is the question? Any advice will be appreciated.
