Hi Severin Not that I actually follow sport (contrary to my name,..lol, or that I get much time to do anything like that,..lol), you could try deleting the widget itself. Restart then download and install it again. <http://expat.dyndns.org/afl-ladder-widget/> That was the link I turned up from searching for AFL 2012 widget.
To delete a widget you can either go into your Home Directory - Library - Widgets and remove it, or simpler way is to bring up widgets (From Dashboard) and hold down Option key and roll over the widget in question. This will bring up the little close "x" in the top left corner. Click it to delete. Restart for good measure. Then reinstall it. I'd try that and see how it goes. Someone who actually uses it may have more help.
