Hi Chris, You cannot Repair a Drive you are booted from.
You need to Reboot from the OSX installer DVD (hold down "C" key as you start up, and continue holding it until it boots from the DVD). Choose your languarge, and then under the Installer or the Utilities menu, launch Disk Utility.
