I'm interested to understand something about using iTunes and whether by directing the iTunes library to a local disc (USB attached external drive) precludes being able to use the iCloud service.
My iTunes library is around 240GB so I'm not going to pay for that much space in the cloud, but I'd like to potentially use iCloud for some storage of some items(contacts, photos, some music perhaps). I was unable to get clarity on this from the Apple site. One has the choice with iTunes to select "backup to this computer" OR "use iCloud" but not both. Can anyone shed any light in this for me please?
