Hi folks, I do not know if its me or what, but after a week of Mavericks, I think it is well named.
First up. I assumed my old address book would be copied straight to the new contacts. What happened was I got the address book from my iPhone. Great. But only phone numbers and no emails. Not helpful. Ronni, and Bob Howells thanks for your help. To no avail. I ended up re-building emails ( no phone numbers) from scratch. That’s now working more or less OK. But now I notice an intermittency in whether or not my (small) Microsoft mouse works. Its plugged into the keyboard. The keyboard is fine, but the mouse sometimes quits. Whether or not this occurs sometimes occurs when I open the lid of the MacBook Pro. Sometime not. The Laser in the mouse is working. Maybe it is the mouse, but since it seems to relate the lid opening and shutting ( I am using a=n external screen) Any thoughts welcome.
