G’day all WAMUGGERs.
August is upon us and winter is two thirds over but who really cares because
the WAMUG monthly meeting is less than 24 hours away. Yes, if your Calendar or
iCal hasn’t reminded you yet, it is on tomorrow, Tuesday, 5 August 2014 at
7.30pm.
Remember too, please, that this August meeting is at a different place for this
month only. It is to be held at
Collier Park Village, 11 Morrison Street, Como.
This coming month’s topics are, in no particular order;
We’ll be taking a look at the “LACIE Fuel” a new portable storage for iPhone,
iPad and Macs. Wirelessly connects so you can save all those photos or watch
those movies that you can’t fit on your iPad. Suitable for the whole family as
you can connect up to five devices. You can also connect through it to the
interwebby so you don’t have change networks.
Got some old OS9 programs? Learn how to run them on your brand new Mac.
iBooks; some hints and tips on how to get most out it.
Also, you pay for your WAMUG 30th celebration at the meeting. Save all that
mucking around on the computer.
Hope you can make it.
