Open your User Folder, and then navigate to the ~/Library/Caches folder. ( The "tilde" symbol "~" is an abbreviation for your Home folder.) If you're unsure where your Home folder is, use your "Go" menu to take you there. 3. Delete the “com.apple.preferencepanes.cache” file. 4. Open System Preferences, it should work normally.
