Hi Bill,

The Find My iPhone App is for iOS devices (your iPhone & iPhone).
On your Mac in System Preferences > iCloud check you have 'Find My Mac'
selected.

The first way to find your device is to use a Web browser. To do so,
<https://www.icloud.com>
sign in to the iCloud Web site and go to the Find My iPhone application.

If you have only one device, the entire window shows a map on which iCloud
tries to locate that device.
If you have more than one device, a My Devices list appears in a box, select a
device to view location data. (If you have multiple Find My iPhone enabled
devices, when you open the Find My iPhone Web application, iCloud attempts to
locate all those devices.

In the Devices list, a dot appears beside each device name to indicate its
status: gray means “trying to connect,” red means “location unknown,” and
green means “location determined recently.”)

Assuming the selected device is turned on and online, the map shows its current
location (if it’s not turned on and online but has been recently, the map
should show the last known location, along with how recently its location was
determined).

Just as in the Maps app on the device, the location becomes increasingly
specific as Find My iPhone zeroes in on its location using a combination of
cell tower triangulation, Wi-Fi network identification, and GPS, depending on
which of these are available.

1. Click on the Device you want (iPhone, iPad)
2. Then click 'Play Sound.
