I am having the same dilemma. We have 4 iOS devices but 5 chargers. One charger remained here when the iOS device was handed over to a family member. Don’t know why each charger needs to be assigned to an iOS device. If the plugs may become a safety hazard they should be exchanged or destroyed in any case. I’ll try my luck at the Garden City store .
