Specs for the new (late 2015) 27 inch iMac show 4 RAM slots. The 8GB basic
setup uses 2 x 4GB modules. Apple upgrades are to 16GB or 32GB - using 8 GB
modules.
Question 1: Can RAM modules be user installed or are they factory fitted?
Question 2: Can two more 4GB modules be user-fitted to create 16GB memory of 4
x 4GB modules?
Question 3: Can the RAM slots have a mix of 4GB and 8GB modules?
