You were good Stephen, I found Apps I had never used so after deleting those & finding updates for the few that needed to be updated.
On my brand new iPAD PRO 12.9-Inch 256GB WI-FI Download of iOS 11 and activating & installing & then Apple ID / iCloud & setup questions - all completed in 16mins. without any issues. Of course I did do a iTunes encrypted backup of iPAD PRO just prior. Very impressed with iOS 11 great improvements on other versions of iOS!
