Hi folks. I was a little concerned that Microsoft are stopping support on 10 October for Office 2011.
So after much searching I purchased Office 2016 Home & Business on eBay from Lenshop in Mt Waverley Victoria. It was a download complete with Key Code and only cost $105.00. Beats Officeworks price of $157.00 (which was next best I could find & is only Home & Student edition). All seems to be working fine. I had planned to uninstall 2011 before installing 2016. Which I am told is the best way to go about it. There is a long list of instructions to uninstall but looked worth while to preserve drive space. But I was not game in case the 2016 download and install failed. I have now deleted my Office 2011 folder and the Microsoft User Data folder. But I am not game to delete any other associated files in case they are critical to 2016. Regards, Stephen Chape
