Hi Severin, This sounds similar to the problem you had back in January this year. The PC “home_network_ga” sounds like you have connected to a Windows server. My reply then to you which did sort the problem for you was: First check you definitely have the Permissions set for your User Account on both Macs as “Read & Write”. If you do have everything setup correctly with permissions to access all the files. Go to System Preference >Sharing. Select the File Sharing menu in the left side vertical bar, then click Options and uncheck the Share files and folders using SMB and leave the Share files and folders using AFP checked. Turning SMB off unless you need to share to Windows PC always works better for sharing / moving files to Macs.
