Agreed. I avoid Seagate (and Lacie who are also part of Seagate, and all Lacie drives use Seagate). My drive of choice is Western Digital (WD). Have used them for many years with many clients and found them to be very great and reliable. (and I can swap them over on the spot if something goes wrong as I know WD stand behind their products - on the rare chance something does go wrong, which to be honest in all the time I’ve been selling them has been few and far between).
