Hi Rod,
I have a Belkin Tunecast auto and a DockBoss Bluetooth by CableJive.
This allows me to Bluetooth music to my choice of FM station. In the car.
Hope this helps. It does lose some volume so you need to tune your radio up a
bit more to compensate.

Rod,

Does the car have a way of connecting anything via Bluetooth? My 2009 Getz does
and it generally picks up the phone well and works well for phone calls and
playing. A charge cable keeps the battery going.

I found cars pre this era may have a RCA connector hidden away maybe in the
glovebox, but that’ll need a plug to go into your non existent on iPhone X ear
plug hole.

Anything much before 2006 didn’t know about anything connecting to the radio
unless it was via a cassette tape input.

You might be able to find a device that’s reads the phone via Bluetooth then
you play it via an FM RADIO frequency. That’s pretty clunky. What you really
need is a new car :-)

Aberdeen Autos are a good place for one Rod. It’s fun bidding on Wednesday
nights for your new pride and joy.

There’s a really nice Pioneer radio that reads two Bluetooth devices and has
nice quality sound output and voice input for phone chatting if changing cars
is a bit dramatic. About $130.

Cheers

Tim
