Hello Bill, You can’t upgrade to iOS 11 on your iPhone 5c. Apple did not make a version of the new iOS, dubbed iOS 11, for the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, or fourth-generation iPad. Instead, those devices will be stuck with iOS 10, which Apple released the previous year.
