Fixed - sort of.

Apple TV was reset to factory settings with latest OS.  Now the iview app works.

Cause of the problem was not identified.  I suspect it was the iview app.  My 
suggestion for others is to delete the app and then reinstall it as the first 
step.  Apple TV settings infer software updates occur when the app is 
activated.  This may not be true.  The automatically reinstalled app after the 
system reset displayed a blue dot inferring it was a new version.
