I must admit that since I got a (quite cheap) smart TV I have not watched very much live TV, or gone to my old TV recordings/downloads or played any of my DVDs.
I don't even subscribe to any pay TV services - I spend most of my viewing time with SBS On-demand (great European TV series) and iView (but getting harder to find good stuff on iView) However, since I do have an attached USB HD, I can also pause or record live TV. Of course my viewing tastes are probably not mainstream - for example, I have no interest in TV sport. It seems to me that conventional TV (watching live TV) and even recording live TV for later viewing will soon go the way of letters with stamps on them - a nostalgic (or not so nostalgic) memory for us oldies ;o) I guess time will tell.
