I have an iMac at my home and a MacBook Air in the Clarence Estate nursing home where I now.live. They were both on HighSierra, and very happy! Me being me I could not resist and I put it on the MacAir. I find that despite my understanding that 32bit apps should run as they do in HS this is not so. Other 64bit apps ( Word365, Freeway) are very slow to boot if at all. So I wish to revert to HS. But, mea culpa! , I do not have a saved Time. Machine or clone backup of the HS version, only now of Mojave. An HS install refuses to grab anything from the Mojave versions. Is there a way out of this , I suspect not. Any suggestions welcome. I am also very happy, with bowed head, to receive castigation for this situation. I can only plead shortage of external disks to hand at my domicile. Living with Mojave will be annoying but not a disaster and I am sure it will improve with every patch. Severin Crisp. (In good spirit, if nowadays somewhat physically impaired)
