I use iCloud to share my photos across all devices. 

You’ll find the settings in your iOS device, iPad under Settings

Click on the very top panel which opens your settings for your AppleID

Then click iCloud which will show you all the settings for your apps that can 
be synced using iCloud

Then toggle Photos. 

It might then tell you things and give you option. Do what you feel is sensible

On my main computer I tick, keep full size images here

On my devices, that is NOT ticked to save space. 

Let everything sync. Be patient. It will take a while. 

You probably need to do the same on your main computer 

I may have accidentally missed some steps, this is just from my memory. It’s 
good to be able to be able figure things out yourself.
