Hi Ronni

Thank you for detailing the method to add text to a slideshow. This appears to
be similar to using the Markup tool to add text in the body of individual
images.

It seems that the result I want is not available. I do not want permanent text
over the image. An action such as a touch or down-swipe on the Siri Remote to
reveal title or metadata as in other Apple TV videos or Aerial screensavers
would be ideal. Photos metadata seems to be contained in the image as it
follows an exported album, so it may be possible in a future ATV device or
tvOS. A fixed title under a photo as per the macOS Photos app would be second
best. And text superimposed on the image is third.

Compromises (and nostalgia)! I did not want to use iCloud for viewing photos
that I was once able to transmit directly over my home network using Home
Sharing. I await, with trepidation, the apps that will soon replace iTunes.
I’m now using iCloud and I admit it functions much better now than it did 5-7
years ago. Back to photo prints glued in a folder for individual viewing?
NO!! A 27 inch 5K iMac to replace the big screen television and ATV? Rant
ended!

Cheers
Alan
