Hi Laura, is it possible to delete and reinstall the app? This should
by default place it back on the main screen - although a bit
inelegant, it might work to fix this re-positioning that has occurred.
Stay safe.

Kind Regards

Peter Crisp

 Good morning all

Very recently I had to change my service provider from Virgin to
Optus. Virgin is closing down in Australia. My phone number remains
the same.

After a few traumatic days, including a time without any phone access
as well as two visits to Optus in Fremantle (where, strictly speaking
I should not have been away from home) I am now back “on air” but
the small green App for messages has moved from the main screen to
something on a side screen under the heading “Siri suggestions”. I
can’t find how to move it back to the main screen.

I am aware there is an option to “Reset” but if I do that will I
also lose all the other apps currently on my main screen?

I have also had some weird things happening with messages from my
regular list apparently being received as “sender unknown” which
is all very odd.

I have scheduled a phone call with Apple Support for later today, but
before I go down that path perhaps the wonderful wizards at WAMUG
might have a suggestion for me.

Best wishes to all in these very difficult times.

 Laura Webb.
