Hi Ronni,
I tried your suggestion but the problem remains. He can't open any file
anywhere (in our outside a program) with a mouse or The only way to open is
to use  keyboard shortcuts or File>>Open or in the case of Calendar
Edit>>Event.
It is in the weird category. Not impossible of course, just very annoying
for him.
