So,..Apple had their WWDC2020 event early this morning (1am until 3am for us,….). No new hardware, but they spoke about the changes to iOS14, iPadOS14 etc. The new macOS is macOS Big Sur. And they also mentioned the long rumoured change to using their own “Apple Silicon” (ARM) chips in their computers,…so some “big changes” coming…. And a repeat of Rosetta. (Rosetta 2). If you don’t want to watch the full 2 hours stream (which was quite interesting,..though I watched all last night,..so a little tired this morning,..lll), you can watch the “everything announced in 13mins). Full video here.- https://www.apple.com/apple-events/june-2020/ Smaller 13min video here - https://www.macrumors.com/2020/06/22/everything-apple-announced-wwdc-2020/
And an early list of Macs that will run “Big Sur” - https://www.macrumors.com/2020/06/22/macos-big-sur-compatible-macs/ (May change at a later date). And iOS 14 was said to run on iPhone 6s onwards The stream was actually a bit better to watch then when they normally do I live I felt…it felt a bit more “polished”. :) (I think because (in my opinion) they don’t practice it to death like Steve used to do,…his presentations were an art!)…….. Some interesting things in there,…… Enjoy!
