Hi Stephen,

Looks like this is an app within the MacOS which allows Voice Over or Speakable
Items. If you do not use the Voice Over or Speakable Items you can disable it
from your Login Items list.

If interested in finding out where the application is hidden, this is what I
found on mac rumours forum:

/System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/SpeechSynthesis.framework/Versions/A/Resources/SpeechSynthesisServer.app

Good night all,

Hi folks
I wondered why my iMac startup slowed down recently.

So I checked in System Preferences/Users & Groups/Login Items.
There is an App that I don’t recognise in there called “SpeechSynthesisServer”

Does any know what that is and does it need to be in my Startup Apps ?

Regards,
Stephen Chape
