Thanks Peter. It was shut down this morning and restarted.
She usually leaves it always on. Yet to see now if it happens again. When you say remove from the stack, can it be simply deleted from the list in menu bar? And how is it reinstated ? Try removing the WiFi network from the stack of WiFi networks in the stack (maybe it only has this one in the stack of one WiFi networks). Then reinstate it from fresh. Ensure also that it sits as the first network in order of the stack of networks if you have a stack of other WiFi networks. When was the iMac last fully Shutdown? Hi folks … this has been happening with my wife’s iMac for about 48 hours. It has dropped off WiFi at least 3 times. And I have had to reconnect using the password. Anyone know why this might be happening please ?
