Dear Wamuggers, I’m encountering problems when using Safari and performing a ’Save as PDF’ using the ‘print screen’.
When I’m doing my banking using Safari and I have made a payment, I always use the print screen which the bank software calls for. -From there I use the ‘ Save as PDF’, and strangely it remembers that I usually save my documents on an external drive and highlights that external drive. At times it goes to the last folder used, but not always. - For most of the time at the stage where the finder window presents the various drives on the left, with my main external drive and its folders to the right, I cannot go to my specific folder in which I want to save the document. - I also then cannot even choose a different drive, nor cannot cancel the action using the cancel button. - At that stage my only option is to use the ‘Force Quit Applications’, choose Safari, which is not indicated as having a freeze, and Force Quit. - This is now causing me a big problem in that I cannot retrieve that exact document from my bank’s website. - P.S. I will, next time around, use FireFox instead of Safari and see if I still encounter this problem. I have never had this problem before until the last two updates of Sonoma. Has anyone got a suggestion for me please? Many thanks. Kind regards, Philippe Chaperon Mac Studio 2023 64GB Memory MacOS Sonoma 14.3.1
