I reckon deleting and re installing sounds the best plan.

But I have never tried that.

   Hi
I have downloaded Firefox and have no problems with it so it must be
something to do with Safari (I had thought that) I can use Firefox but
   I prefer Safari.
Can I delete Safari completely and download it again? That may solve
whatever problem I’ve got myself into?
   Kind regards
   Peter

HAve you tested aonther browser, such as Firefox or Google Chrome?
     If
you don’t have an alternative browser, plesae download at least one
     or
the other - or ven both - of these to use when Safarit doesn’t
     quite
get it right. I use Safari by default, but I always have a couple
     of
alternatives to fall back on when certain pages just don't work
      properly, for whatever reason.

      Hi everyone
I’m having a new problem with Safari, when in safari I choose a
     website
to go to, it takes up to a minute or two to connect rather than
     almost
instantaneously as it used to. Do you think there is something
affecting safari? Or can I reset it or something? I’ve cleared out
     the
history but that hasn’t made any difference.
Hoping someone may have some information.
      Kind regards
      Peter
