Hello WAMUG people, I get 60 - 90 emails a day with a large number being unwanted & I haven’t even subscribed to them. I went for a long time to ignoring them (just deleting), believing that unsubscribing would just alert them to my actual existence, or incentivising them to sell my email to other sites. Currently I am unsubscribing and/or sending to Junk. Numbers have improved somewhat but still relatively high, with some sites saying it will take 10 days to activate! Does sending to Junk do anything in a practical sense?
I would like to understand this situation & what can really be done with it. I don’t really want to get a new email address…. Many thanks in advance for your take on the situation & possible solutions, Cheers, Alex MacBook Air Ventura 13.7.8
