Hi Tim,

Not sure if they have any left, but Telstra was selling the iPhone SE (3rd Gen)
for $399 - as one of my clients bought one after his (same model) took a swim
and no longer worked. So he bought a brand new iPhone SE (3rd Gen) as the
replacement. As he just wanted one that could do phone calls and texts, and the
odd photo. And given the price, and as you mentioned it ran iOS26 - it went
that option.
So could be worth a look too. But yes, unfortunately the batteries don’t last
as well I find. Even my 2 year old iPhone 16 Pro battery is starting to show
“signs” of battery wear and tear. I do use mine a lot though for maps, emails,
every all day every day and probably “over charge” it a little (Even though
it’s not meant to do that any more, I’m sure it still does).
But yes, we do build up a collection of “old computers etc” over the year.

Kind regards
Daniel
