I have the Debian package libphysfs-1.0-0 installed on an Etch and Sarge
system and both fail on PhsicsFS detection. After reviewing icculus's
site, I believe that it is simply a packaged version.

Error: Package 'PhysicsFS Filesystem Abstraction Library' was found but
was of the wrong version and the correct version could not be located.

[IV 1.0 for @icculus.org/physfs]

Error: Unable to prepare package Warzone Strategy Game.

Further there is a bug in the installer when it tries to download
physfs-1.0.1.x86.package, when the actual filename it tries is
"physfs-1.0.1.x86.package.meta" which doesn't exist AFAIK.
The AutoPackage of Warzone requires libphysfs-1.0.so
Because I have been told that PhysFS is not available on some distributions of Linux, I have prepared another AutoPackage of PhysFS, version 1.0.1 It is the one which currently resides at autopackage/packages/physfs-1.0.1.x86.package Problem is that I made a mistake, when interpreting the "How to make an autopackage" and uploaded the wrong files. Sorry for that. I will try to recreate the package and upload the correct files as soon as possible. But I won't make any promise when that will be, because I don't have much time these days...

I search my system for libphysfs-1.0.so and it seems the Debian package doesn't include this library. Only the following:
/usr/lib/libphysfs-1.0.so.0
/usr/lib/libphysfs-1.0.so.0.0.0

Having no clue the difference between them I linked the autopackge PhysFS library:
# cd /usr/local/lib
# ln -s ~sime/.local/lib/libphysfs-1.0.so

Then the autopackge installer worked fine. Though as far as I could see (it was very quick) it still went online and downloaded the PhysFS autopackage and post installation it informed me that PhysFS and Warzone was correctly installed.

Lastly the initial load of warzone failed as I didn't have libpng.so.3 which was quickly resolved.

Even after downloading and installing physfs-1.0.1.x86.package the installer
still produces the above error.
That is weird. I currently have no idea why it happens. You could ask on the AutoPackage mailinglist or on IRC (http://autopackage.org/community.html).
Sorry I can't help you myself, but as I said, no time...

Hope this helps.
