It is not currently underway. I was working on it, but it is currently
waiting for me to get more spare time. How were you considering fixing
it? If it involves concentrating the network code and cleaning it up,
nothing could be better for helping things along.
I just want to take whatever network code we end up with and make it
endian-clean.
