forgot to subscribe, so replying to myself.
I wonder how hard it'd be to change the python script to produce one
image per technology item, showing its upstream dependencies and the
things that require it, and one small web page per such image with an
imagemap to link each of the upstream and downstream technologies to
their respective pages, creating a hyperlinked technology tree.
Certainly doable. If I know it gets used I even might do it :-). But
where would I get the images from? In the data files the images are
mentioned, but as pie files with small overlay icons in non-uniform format.
I don't think I can afford to have this admittedly awesome picture
printed out on a glossy poster. :)
Ha, then you're no fan obviously ;-). I use the svg to peek at when
playing skirmish.
