Details:
I was testing this new version of Warzone 2100 until I ran into these
bugs...
I was playing my own custom music with the playlist set and the game was
running fine. (Using neos_.mp3 - neos_.ogg).
The MUSIC sound was o.k. (except with having slight problems with the music
tracks changing from one track to another from the main menu sound playlist)
but the FX sound of the tanks e.g. seems to disappear after a long extensive
time into game play. (I've already encountered this problem once before with
other versions of Warzone 2100 and other games alike). (More of a hardware
related problem I think…)
When I saved my game when the FX sound disappeared. It seemed to return to
normal as they all seem to do. The FX sound will seem to return if you pause
the game and continue. (Note: menu sound was still playing in main game; it
seems that when you start a new game from scratch the music will change from
the menu sound to the game sound as normal).
This is I believe basically a save game crash when reloading from your
previously saved game. If you load your previously saved game from the MAIN
menu the game will load fine, but if you load your game during GAME-PLAY the
saved game will crash. (There will be no loading bar at all)
Also had problems with the game changing from the main game to the desktop
and vice versa which can result in a crash.
Minor Problem:-
During game play when using the mouse wheel to change altitude or height you
can some times hear an error sound.
(All these bugs ARE reproducible)
