Details:
= Note =
As far as I know this bug may never occur when using Warzone in a "normal"
way, as Umlaute are replaced by "_" (without quotes).
= Short description =
Saving a save-game can cause the save-game to vanish under certain
circumstances.
= Reproduction of the bug =
0 Create a save-game.
0 Rename all the save-game-files manually to something like "testötest".
0 Load the save-game.
0 Should be successful (note: Warzone correctly displays the Umlaut in the
save-game).
0 Save the game again (and avoid changing the save-game-name!).
0 Again navigate to the save-menu and see that the save-game has vanished
(checking the save-game-folder confirms this).
= What remains to say =
Although normally this situation should not occur, I think that the save-game
just shouldn't vanish at all no matter how problematic the file-name is. Even
telling the user that the save-game-name is not usable by warzone (and
telling him/her what may cause this problem and how to solve it) is thousand
times more convenient than deleting a maybe precious save-game (although I
think that currently nobody should have precious save-games at all).
I may document this with screenshots and/or add save-game-files, if
necessary.
