I would pretty love to have the ability to rate buildings in game. I
would like them mainly for the sake of base aesthetics, but it would
also make the game play a little bit better.

Example: If you play a MP/Skirmish game and your base is at the bottom
of the map, while your base entry is on the top, new vehicles need to
drive around the factory. This seems insignificant but some times these
1-3 seconds can decide a fight.

It would also solve some other (minor) problems. I had some situations
where I could build a cyborg factory horizontally but not vertically.
Another thing could may be the "Gate"-Mod. I remember there was the
problem, that you must have the gate 2 times, vertically and
horizontally. Which would even be difficult, because the entity's rotate
in the preview.

Another slight improvement would may be Turrets like archangel-rockets.
The turret rotation speed is slow as hell, and if you're on the top of
the map, it would be advantageous if you could build the rocket
emplacements already upside-down. Otherwise on the first encounter, the
turrets will need quite some time until they head into the right direction.

Now imagine that it would be possible to make buildings rotate able (by
pressing a key when you drop the building), we would also need some
indicator in which direction the building actually faces. Since the
white brackets don't help that much. So, my second suggestion is that we
may draw the full building to 50% instead of white braces. Also saving
the previous selected direction should be saved somehow, for the sake of
comfort/dropping multiple turrets.

However, that's just a tiny thought.
