Concerning r9073

i know this probably isn't the place to dicuss this, but the website
(therefore the forum as well I presume) is down at the moment, and I am
impatient to get this off my chest, sorry.
I checked the changelog, found the revision number in the commit archive,
and the useful looking variable declaration in power.c in trunk/src. I think
1,000,000 is a better cap, if any.

I don't really understand why there needs to be a cap; maybe memory
optimisation, I don't know. Personally for me however, it does upset some of
the gameplay in long games on big maps, with friends or with computer
players. I've stockpiled more than 150k of oil in previous versions of the
game.
While this may not be a standard way of playing, and although I am a
hopeless turtler-hoarder (who enjoys variety with cheats), don't you think
you should at least leave the game accessible to the preferences of its
existing userbase, if not looking for ways to expand it?

To summarise my point: if there needs to be a cap, why not set it as an
alterable value in config, or leave it at a higher value, such as 1,000,000?
I know the commit comment said there was forum consensus; but I didn't know
about, and wanted to have my say. Thankyou.

PS speaking of limits, is there any way to alter the max allowed units from
100 like in that lovely EXE hack a few years back?
