 displayCompObj ( component.c) is setting pie_SHADOW on cyborgs and other
 things which should be pie_TRANSLUCENT. Which causes shadows to be drawn
 on the whole of their polys.

 Baseplates should be able to receive shadows while being compatible with
 semi transparent baseplates (#198, r6970.)

 There's probably other stuff that should go in here.
