#1856: Arbitrary(?) Segfault. Possibly related to gates

I was playing on MizaMaze, and the game just kinda segfaulted, about half
an hour in. The only thing I can think of is that I was doing something
kind of strange with gates.
Version is from svn from two days ago. I'm going to update, recompile,
and see if I can replicate the bug.
It should be noted that in order to make it compile, I had to copy a few
(all) *.lex.c file from the released version.
