#2015: can't click "READY", assert failed

When i try to join some games (i.e., this depends solely on the game), i'm
actually able to join, but clicking the 'ready' checkbox does nothing. I
also see a lot of such messages in the stderr in this case (probably for
every click on this 'ready' button i make)
