#2074: Warzone 2.3.3 test run using Korean translation .mo file failed

 Following instructions I found in this forum(see bottom of message), I
 tried running Warzone with the local system language set to Korean (and
 the game language set to "system locale").

 I created the directories necessary. (namely, locale\ko\LC_MESSAGES) I
 also changed the name of my .mo file to warzone2100.mo, which went inside
 the LC_MESSAGES folder.

 The result is that weird html-like gibberish(<> tags and numbers) appears
 instead of the Korean letters.

 Why is this happening?

 I use Windows XP with Nvidia fx 5900xt video card. I don't have any other
 operating system available, so I don't know whether this happens on other
 platforms.
