#2220: Autorevision is currently geared to using SVN rather than git

A number of things need to be in the header file produced before any
public release:
* When in a git repo use GIT_ prefix
* A define for the full SHA-1 of HEAD
* A define for the first 7 characters of the SHA-1 of HEAD
* The number produced by running "git rev-list HEAD | wc -l"
* The date HEAD was committed
* The name of the current branch
* The name of the tag of HEAD (if any)
* If the working directory has been modified
