I just tried the motif crash UI on Debian with lesstif2 (free motif clone)
and it doesn't work there:
$ warzone2100 --crash
fatal |02:16:28: [draw3DScene] Forcing a segfault! (crash handler test)
Warning: XmManager ClassInitialize: XmeTraitSet failed
Error: attempt to add non-widget child "DropSiteManager" to parent "main"
which supports only widgets
