#2821: Only first three characters of text displayed in menus

When running with the latest nouveau/mesa drivers compiled from git, only
the first three characters of text in the menus is displayed.
warzone2100-2.3.7-1.fc15.i686 with the same drivers works as expected and
does not have this issue.
